Amsterdam 1984,

This is the beginning of a love story for Sem Atchley and Diajeng Basagita who are currently studying at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. The two decided to marry in 1989, settling temporarily in the Netherlands because Sem had to complete his medical studies.

Sem Atchley and Diajeng Basagita had their first child in 1992, a daughter who lived in the Netherlands until the age of nine. Her name is Raveena Calandre Atchley. The second child was increasingly present to complement their small family one year after the birth of the eldest.

In 2001, their little family decided to follow her mother back to Indonesia. Sem felt that his knowledge would also be very useful if practiced in the country of his wife’s birth.

Everything went well until one day, the eldest learned a dark secret from his parents - the fact that his father had another woman besides Diajeng. In order to keep Mother’s mouth shut and protect her good name, Sem deliberately locks his wife into a house of seclusion and tells everyone that it was Mother who actually had another man. Therefore, the eldest and her younger brother tried to fixes the family situation as before.
